Technical Sales Engineer – Process Equipment
A successful Process Equipment Supplier Company based in County Dublin are actively seeking a highly driven, professional and motivated Technical Sales Engineer keen to provide first class customer care to an established multinational client base and to further develop this customer base to ensure long term and continued growth.
Our client specialises in providing high specification Process Measurement Equipment across advanced process manufacturing environments including Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Petrochemical, Fine Chemicals, Food and Beverage sectors
Ideally our client seeks proven and experienced Technical Sales Engineer candidates already working within the Process Measurement Equipment sales market. However, consideration will also be given those coming from a technical sales capacity within the Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing and Agricultural sectors.

§ Carry out daily engineering sale functions, sales orders and technical advice and provide calls to customers, carrying out site visits when required.
§ Ensuring high customer care and response standards are met and maintained on a daily basis.
§ Ability to develop relationships with all customers ensuring high standards at all times.
§ Promote our value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and owners by providing technical solutions to help clients meet or exceed business objectives.
§ Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Equipment specs and support policies.
§ High-level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources.
§ Negotiate sales and/or service agreements.
§ Liaising with Senior Managers to ensure all company orders and client request are delivered and executed on time.
§ Achieve targets and ensure monthly targets are met.
§ Carry out all monthly/yearly individual targets.
§ Participate in team meetings and reporting all results and information to Senior Management.
§ 3-5+ years’ experience within Technical Sales/ Engineering Environment.
§ Expert usage of LinkedIn and other social media platforms to engage prospective clients.
§ Ideal but not essential Third Level Engineering/ Science Qualification -alternatively Process Controls / Process Instrumentation Apprenticeship
§ Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and through online video software.
§ Strong Client / Commercial Relationship building skills
§ Strong Commercial Awareness.
§ Strong organisational skills.
§ Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.
§ Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general business applications is required.
§ Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal and external stakeholders.
§ Ability to discuss product values, positioning, differentiation, and highlights.
