Mechanical Project Engineer

We are looking for a site based Mechanical Project Engineer on behalf of our client, a world class EPCM company that operates worldwide and is involved in various projects across Ireland, to join their team on a project in the north-west region of Ireland.

The role requires leading a client team and coordinating a multidisciplinary design team to successfully deliver the project. Strong leadership experience in process and mechanical systems is essential, along with a high level of safety awareness.

Candidates must demonstrate broad experience in project delivery, with a solid understanding of safety, commercial, technical, and quality requirements, particularly within a pharmaceutical (pharma) site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Lead client-side project engineering activities on site.

·       Coordinate a multidisciplinary design team and drive project delivery.

·       Oversee demolition scopes with strong focus on safety and compliance.

·       Provide technical leadership in process and mechanical systems.

·       Ensure all project work meets safety, quality, technical, and commercial standards.

Requirements:

·       Degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering.

·       Proven experience delivering demolition projects.

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage client teams and engineering contractors.

·       High safety awareness and experience working on pharmaceutical sites.

·       Demonstrated capability managing projects in complex, regulated environments.
