Project Director

Reporting to

Location Maynooth- Northern Europe / Site based

Purpose

This responsibility can begin at tender or negotiations stage or commencement of Project on site.
To manage, control and deliver either a large complex project or a number of smaller projects simultaneously to the satisfaction of the company and client

Responsibilities

Lead by example setting required standards of behavior and conduct for projects
To ensure all statutory and company safety requirements are met
To ensure company procedures are complied with and information is communicated with project staff
To develop good relationships with the client and potential clients along with their respective advisors
To work with Operations Director ensuring projects are staffed by qualified and experienced staff and future needs are identified
To maximize project margin & control costs
To ensure the client is protected during contract negotiations, on-site works and post contract discussions
To foster relationships with suitable senior consultants/subcontractor personnel
By working with heads of individual departments ensuring staff training is up to date and ‘fast track’ personnel are identified and progressed accordingly
Communicate client and Project strategy with project team ensuring objectives are met and understood
Liaising with procurement lead during tender/negotiation/construction period
Managing programme of works
Responsible for compliance and delivery for Projects across Safety, Quality and Program
