Lead Project Planner/Scheduler – Construction Phase

Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently seeking an experienced Lead Project Planner/Scheduler to join their team in a large-scale pharma project based in Limerick. This role is site-based, and you will be working as part of an established project planning team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project planning/scheduling
• Strong pharmaceutical industry background
• Proven experience leading a team of planners and working within integrated planning teams
• Strong technical capability, with the ability to read and interpret engineering deliverables and drawings
• Solid understanding of broader project controls functions, including contracting interfaces (tender milestones, contract milestones, extensions of time evaluations)
• Previous experience working in a multi-user Primavera P6 environment
• Experience managing interfaces with subcontractors
• Ability to establish and maintain earned value management (EVM) progress reporting systems
• Advanced computer skills, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with Last Planner interfacing
• Ability to chair and facilitate interactive planning and coordination meetings
• 4D BIM experience is an advantage but not essential
• Good understanding of design deliverables and subcontract mobilisation activities
