Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Review and match the right equipment to the correct location within tools.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and multiple teams to determine project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews of mechanical systems and provide technical input.
• Check and confirm appropriate service flows through relevant references.
• Discuss issues and create Records of Discussion (ROD) with Trades, Design Team, IT, etc.
• Complete engineering reviews and EQAs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform peer reviews in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• High level of experience with CAD and Excel.
• Understanding of mechanical specifications, facility data sheets, and vendor information.
• Ability to complete engineering reviews.
• Strong troubleshooting capability.
