Project Engineer x 2
Our client is a leading global EPCM company with worldwide operations and projects across Ireland and they are seeking two Project Engineers to join their Sustaining Capital and Site Services team in the pharmaceutical sector, acting in a Project Engineer / Project Manager / Program Manager capacity on medium and small-scale projects.
The role reports to the Project Director for Sustaining Capital and Site Services.
Required Experience & Technical Knowledge:
• 5–10 years engineering experience (pharma site-based or pharma design background)
• Engineering, Architecture, or commercial qualification
• Engineering experience in pharma site-based or pharma design environments
• Experience identifying, implementing, and complying with safety, environmental, and quality standards, company procedures, and relevant regulations
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment and installations
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and understanding of P&IDs
• Broad knowledge of CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) and E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)
• Knowledge of project lifecycle from concept through design and implementation
• Experience in delivering construction projects
• Knowledge of quality management systems and their implementation
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in project environments
• Contractual awareness in relation to project administration
• Commercial awareness and project performance understanding
Skills & Competencies
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project execution
• Ability to develop and adhere to project schedules
• Understanding of project governance, including progress measurement, change management, and reporting
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently or in a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with technology and digital tools used in engineering environments
