Health and Safety Manager
Our client is a leading global engineering and consultancy company delivering projects across a range of sectors in Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a project in Dublin.
Role:
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all design, construction, testing and commissioning works are carried out in compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 to 2020, and all other current applicable Regulations, Codes of Practice and Guidance.
The successful candidate will support the Design and Technical Services Lead in leading the Health and Safety sub-functional area and will be responsible for the effective management and performance of personnel within the function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Design and Technical Services Lead in leading the Health and Safety sub-functional area.
• Take responsibility for the performance management of CP personnel deployed within the Health and Safety sub-functional area.
• Lead the continuous drive towards a high-performance Health and Safety culture.
• Develop and maintain a detailed resourcing plan for the Health and Safety sub-functional area.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of personnel deployed within the sub-functional area.
• Ensure CP personnel are carrying out their relevant tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Support the successful delivery of the project through effective management and coordination of the Health and Safety sub-functional area.
