Senior Mechanical Surveyor

Asset Recruitment is seeking a Lead Mechanical Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our client, a leading EPCM company involved in several projects in Ireland and worldwide. In this role the focus will be on projects within the Life Sciences sector.

This role will be initially based in Dublin with transfer to Frankfurt as project progresses.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Pre-Contract responsibilities include:

• Developing pricing documentation for tender packages
• Supporting tendering processes and contract setup
• Creating capital expenditure estimates

During the tendering phase responsibilities include:

• Providing advice on tendering procedures
• Draft instructions to tenderers
• Drafting of PQQ questionnaires
• Development of tender evaluation criteria

Post Contract duties include:

• Reporting to the Commercial Manager and responsible for commercial aspects on the project.
• Preparation of Interim Valuations.
• Preparing monthly Cost Reporting.
• Evaluating and responding to Contract Claims.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 8+ years’ Experience in the Construction Industry.
• German language (not a requirement but would be beneficial)
• Life Science Project experience is a requirement.
• Specific Mechanical Quantity Surveying experience
