C&Q Engineer

Our client is a global EPCM company with operations and projects across Ireland. They are currently looking for an experienced C&Q Engineer to join their team on an exciting project based in Co. Tipperary.

Responsibilities:

The C&Q Engineer will support and deliver the following project activities:
• Development of documentation across the full C&Q lifecycle, including IV, FT, IQ, and OQ
• Preparation and execution of FAT, Commissioning, and SAT protocols
• Execution of Qualification protocols (IQ/OQ)
• Preparation, execution, and follow-up of Design Review (DR) and Design Qualification (DQ) activities
• Execution of Installation Verification
• Supporting system start-up activities
• Conducting field walkdowns as part of system handover from Construction
• Ensuring systems are safe and ready for start-up, functional testing, and qualification phases
• Functional testing of equipment and systems
• Managing change control activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Writing summary and close-out reports
• Planning, tracking, and reviewing daily tasks and verification progress
• Coordinating with contractors and vendors
• Liaising with project stakeholders including Construction, Engineering, Automation, Quality, and End Users across all phases

Requirements:

• Degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification with relevant industry experience
• 5+ years’ experience in C&Q within large-scale pharmaceutical or biotech projects
• Practical experience in areas such as Black & Clean Utilities, Purification Systems, Reactors, Filtration, CIP, Upstream and Downstream processes, etc.
• Strong understanding of GMP and GEP standards
• Proactive, self-driven, and a strong team contributor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
