Project Scheduler

Asset Recruitment is proud to present this exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler with our client, a leading multinational Pharmaceutical company base in Dundalk.

The Project Scheduler will develop and maintain a resource-aligned Site Integrated Schedule, consolidating multiple plans into a unified portfolio roadmap for a new site. This role involves close collaboration with the project manager, Senior Leadership Team, the Dundalk cross-functional team, and the Global Engineering Solutions project team to ensure alignment across all project aspects.

This position provides an experienced scheduler the chance to enhance their skills across the full project lifecycle—from start-up to PPQ batch completion—on a strategic biopharmaceutical program involving both capital and client delivery.

Activities within Role

• Drive creation of Site Portfolio Schedule (Microsoft Project)
• Transfer/Build the existing project schedules in Microsoft Project with connection to Primavera schedule where needed.
• Chair or support with interactive scheduling workshops with various individuals and teams, within and outside the company, to further develop the schedule.
• Maintain site portfolio schedule, alignment of sub project schedules, issuance of progress metrics (define and deliver). Support site governance in mitigation plan tracking.
• Monitor progress and provide timely updates showing impact on milestones.
• Delivery weekly updates to the project manager, leadership team and site project management office using established reporting tools.
• Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the scheduler on the capital project to identify critical common milestones and workload peaks and to ensure a tightly integrated schedule.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years working in a similar role in a pharmaceutical or preferably a biopharmaceutical environment with at least one major project involving implementation of MES and MBR.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project scheduling tool.
• Proficiency in Primavera scheduling tool.
• Proficiency as a user in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Level 7 or 8 degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline desired.
• Project Management Professional or similar qualification desired.

Candidates must have either EU citizenship or a Stamp 4 in Ireland to be eligible for this role.
