Process Engineer
Exciting entry-level opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our pharmaceutical client at their Carlow site, offering the chance to build your career with one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Coordinate, execute, and document qualification and process studies, along with additional product programs where applicable.
• Support operational and business areas, ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Take accountability for compliance through completion of documentation, risk assessments, closure of corrective actions, participation in audits and inspections, and proactive identification of compliance risks.
• Generate, review, and approve process documentation.
• Execute development and qualification studies across both commercial and non-commercial products.
• Represent the Technical Operations department at cross-functional meetings.
• Support the development and qualification of new processes.
• Assist with qualification of new equipment where required.
• Lead and support investigations and troubleshooting related to process studies.
• Ensure compliance with the QMS, as well as industry and company-specific standards and regulations.
• Apply technical knowledge to support the authoring of technical documentation and technical decision-making.
• Support audit readiness activities, including preparation of storyboards, ensuring GMP-compliant documentation is available, and presenting to auditors as required.
Requirements:
• Entry-level role; preferably a minimum of 1 year’s experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• A third-level degree in Engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, Process, Mechanical, or a related discipline).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
