Project Manager
Role
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager who will be part of our client’s Global Engineering Solutions (GES) division to oversee extensive Capital projects. The selected candidate will report directly to the Global Engineering Solutions (GES) Area Director, assuming a pivotal role in the EMEA GES Project Execution team, actively managing a diverse project portfolio across API, Biologics, Vaccines, and Animal Health networks.
Responsibilities
– Bring dynamism, expertise, originality, and leadership
– Manage an integrated project team, ensuring timely delivery of critical assets within budgetary limits.
– Support the development of project execution plans.
– Validate project scopes for optimal business solutions.
– Offer oversight in construction management.
– Oversee project processes using effective design strategies.
– Devise and execute appropriate procurement strategies.
– Understand and control project cost budgeting.
– Manage schedule development and control.
– Implement change management and control.
– Handle communication requirements through efficient reporting and information distribution.
– Plan and mitigate risks effectively.
– Manage/implement commissioning, qualification, contract administration, and project closure.
The role may entail up to 25% travel to support projects across Ireland and the EMEA region.
Qualifications
– Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
– 10+ years’ relevant experience, ideally within the Pharma industry, including delivering Capital and/or Expense projects.
– Proficiency in leading integrated project teams to achieve timely delivery of critical assets within budget constraints.
– Exceptional decision-making abilities, change management proficiency, and team alignment strengths.
– Strong stakeholder management skills, understanding customer relationships, and communicating effectively with senior company stakeholders.
– Ability to collaborate effectively in a business-sensitive team environment.
Preferred Expertise
– Experience in Lean Project Delivery Methodologies (e.g., target value design delivery, off-site fabrication, pull planning scheduling tools) is a notable advantage.
